Melanie Exum, a
TYB Faculty member since 2019, began dancing at age five, training with Patricia Warren at the Artistic Dance Academy in Goldsboro, NC. Trained in various styles, including: ballet, jazz, tap, pointe, hip-hop, lyrical/contemporary, and West African dance she joined Carolina Style Dance Company and UNC Kamikazi Dance Team while attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. A recent graduate, Melanie remains at for her master’s degree in Speech Therapy. She enjoys sharing her passion for dance with students of all ages and backgrounds and is excited about starting this new program. |
