Covid-19 Policies and Procedures

Things are different these days and you will notice seating is not as plentiful in the lobby or dressing room.  These are no longer areas to wait and congregate.  A baby gate keeps the person in the office at a safe distance.  Each day the floor will be mopped with an alcohol solution.  The barres and touched surfaces will be sanitized with an alcohol solution between each class.  But we also need help from you.

Before you arrive:
Take your temperature.  If it is elevated, please stay home.  Pack your dance bag with your water bottle which you can fill at our no-touch water fountain.  Bring your own hand sanitizer to eliminate everyone touching the same dispenser.  Be dressed and ready on arrival.  Only one person is allowed in the dressing room at a time.  The rollers, yoga mats, thera-bands and exercise balls are all off-limits.  If you need them for a class, please bring your own from home.  Look over the Symptoms Questionnaire especially the last line.

When you arrive:
Check in will be in the parking lot and you will be expected to answer some questions about covid-19 symptoms and your contacts.  We will take your temperature again.  The lobby is limited to one person who is not staff, so we encourage parents or drop-off drivers to leave.

While here:
We will all wear masks and socially distance from each other. Notice the spike tape to help you measure distances. The studio door will be kept open to eliminate the need to touch the handle. Fans will remain on.  When weather permits, outside doors will be left open. The restroom in the lobby is for faculty and staff who will be responsible for following the cleaning protocol themselves. And remember to allow 6 feet between you and others at all times.

When class is over:
Please take all your belongings out of the studio and meet your ride outside.  We will be allowing pick up at the front and back door.  Drivers, please wait in your car.  Once the studio is clear we have 15 minutes to sanitize the surfaces before the next class.

Shoes:  Now more than ever your dance shoes should only be worn inside the studio.

Hands:  While hand sanitizer is great, it is no substitute for thorough hand-washing.  Your teachers will remind you to wash periodically.

Masks:  Yes!  And, at all times!!  We encourage you to bring an extra mask for comfort when your first mask gets warm.
