Dance for Adults

Classes for Adults

Whether you are coming back to ballet after time away or starting from scratch, our adult ballet program is a fun, anatomy-based way to meet your fitness goals. At TYB we pay particular attention to alignment, joint health, and proper muscle engagement to avoid injury and build balanced, full-body strength. We strive for a judgment-free, open, and friendly class dynamic where questions are welcome and limits are always respected. Performance opportunities for interested adults are also provided.

Adult Classes 

You can register to be billed through our system here or purchase individual classes below. Beginner classes are only offered in sessions. 

​Drop-in Ballet Classes

  • Intermediate- Sunday 2:15 - 3:45 pm

  • Intermediate- Tuesday 10:00 - 11:30 am

  • Intermediate/Advanced-

    • Monday 7:00 - 8:30 pm

    • Tuesday 6:30 - 8:00 pm

    • Wednesday 7:30 - 9:00 pm

    • Thursday 5:00 - 6:30 pm​​​​

*Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday Int/Adv followed by 30 minutes of pointe

9-week Sessions

  • Advanced Beginner- Thursday 7:00 - 8:30 pm

  • Fundamentals of Ballet- Tuesday 6:30 - 7:30 pm

  • Beginner Adult Contemporary- Tuesday 7:30 - 8:30 pm

Register for our Adult Drop-in program to be billed through our system based on your attendance or for any of our adult workshops or seminars by clicking the button.


Fundamentals of Ballet is our true beginner adult level. Many students go on to join the Advanced Beginner and Intermediate levels after one or two sessions of Fundamentals. 

The Adult Drop-in billing system is most useful to students who plan to attend class on a regular basis.
