Auditions for Triangle Youth Ballet's Nutcracker are open to all current ballet students in the area, not just Triangle Youth Ballet students. See below for information about auditions, rehearsals, performances, our annual fundraiser, and more!

Senior Company
ages 12-18
August 19th, 5:00-7:30 pm
Results posted within 24 hours.
Dancers who are invited to the senior company must attend Casting Week, which runs as follows:
August 22, 10:00 am-3:00 pm
August 23, 1:00-6:00 pm
August 24-28, 5:00-7:30 pm
August 29, 10:00 am-3:00 pm
August 30, 1:00-6:00 pm

Children's and Junior Companies
ages 8-18
September 19th, 1:00-3:30 pm
Results posted within 72 hours.
Rehearsals begin the following Saturday, September 26th.
Commitment
All Nutcracker rehearsals and performances are mandatory. This includes:

Saturdays OR Sundays in August, September, and October (varies by company)

Thanksgiving weekend
Please do not audition for the production if you have prior commitments.

The Tchaikovsky Virtuosi
The Triangle Youth Ballet is a rarity among youth ballets in that we have our own LIVE orchestra. Having live, orchestral accompaniment heightens the experience for both our dancers and our audience and takes our production to the next level.

Fall Fete
Our annual fundraiser will be
October 4th at Parizade in Durham.
There will be drinks, dancing, heavy hors d'ouevres, live entertainment, silent auction, live auction, a raffle, and door prizes.
